During an interview with Nbs After 5, Dax Vibes revealed some reasons that could be behind the cancelation of his concert at Hotel Africana. The concert was scheduled for 28th August 2025.

Dax says the venue management did not give him an official Statement concerning the concert cancelation. However, he was later confirmed that the decision came from the family that own the hotel.

"I was told it was a consensus of the family that owns Africana that there shouldn’t be more shows at the venue." He said

The WhatsApp Voice Notes

Dax says through the voice notes he listened clearly there was deeper reasons behind the concert Cancelation.

"In some WhatsApp messages I listened to, they were saying I didn’t qualify to be there after their investigations."

Dax Vibes explained that the idea of the concert started  25th, September 2024. Then he discussed it with one of BMK's son Ali.

According to Dax, Ali believed in his music and thought he had reached a level of organizing a concert. And encouraged him to plan one  in  2025.

"We agreed to do it when the music was still booming, and May 2025 seemed ideal. We went to the accounts office and got a quotation, but we were told that B2C already had a concert that month, so we moved it to August considering my fanbase is largely young."

Despite the challenges, Dax Vibes is hopeful the concert will go a head.
